A collection of works by illustrator Izumi Shiokawa.
The book contains a total of 31 works, including 29 works exhibited at the exhibition "One" held at GALLERY CLASKA in the summer of 2024 and two new works. The book captures every moment of the unique expressions and behaviors of dogs living with people, and depicts them with a dynamic brushstroke that seems to convey their breathing.
This book was released by PLPM, a publishing label established by paper specialty store Papier Lab.
The book is bound to closely match the world of the painting, taking advantage of the characteristics of the paper, such as using three different sizes of paper, binding the pages flat, and a layout that shows the work on the right-hand page of a spread.
