As a picture book author who illustrated "Gurumpa's Kindergarten" and other works, as a designer/art director who worked on logos and editorial designs for cultural magazines such as "anan" and "BRUTUS", and as a talented man who has also left a legacy of memorable work in the fields of writing, photography, and fashion, Seiichi Horiuchi is a man of great talent.
This book is a compilation of the Seiichi Horiuchi Exhibition to be held at PLAY MUSEUM and other venues from January 2025. This was published as the official art book to coincide with "FASHION・FANTASY・FUTURE ," and it is a compilation of approximately 100 paintings, illustrations, photographs, and other works, as well as words and texts culled from his writings and interviews during his lifetime.

The four words that follow the title, "The world is like this," are "Beautiful, interesting, full of dreams, endless."
Using these four keywords as a guide, we will slowly unravel Horiuchi's aesthetics and worldview that quietly permeates his works, which span a wide variety of fields and styles.
