This is a collection of 30 silkscreen works that were discovered in the studio of illustrator Mizumaru Anzai after his death and had never been published in print. The works were created between 1987 and 1991 and were made exclusively for a solo exhibition held at the time. The use of high-saturation inks that reproduce the vivid colors of silkscreen printing, along with a minimalist binding that keeps text to a minimum, brings out a Zen-like serenity and transparency in Mizumaru's work, which was previously shrouded in a pop, urban veil. A book that leaves a fresh and powerful impression that transcends time. ——
