The third album by The Softies, a duo consisting of Rose Melberg (Tiger Trap, Gaze, Go Sailor) and Jen Sbragia (All Girl Summer Fun Band).
Their style of expressing personal pain and sorrow through a minimalist arrangement centered on guitar and vocals has been consistent throughout their discography, but this album stands out for the maturity of their songwriting and the beauty of their harmonies. In particular, "Sturdies Bay" (B3), which is sung entirely in scat, gives the impression of a certain culmination.
After this album, Softies went on hiatus. For a long time, this was considered their last album until their comeback album "THE BED I MADE" was released in 2024.
