800 cherries is a bedroom pop unit from Sapporo that was active in the late 90s. This album is a reissue of their LP "romantico" released by the US March label in 1999, with a special reissue by KiliKiliVilla. (Kirikiri Villa) reissued this version in 2023.
A postmodern pop sensibility is intertwined with a surreal and innocent worldview, nostalgic yet future-oriented, familiar yet always exotic, creating a mysterious sound trip that can only be enjoyed here.
This reissue reproduces the original packaging of the green clear vinyl in a PVC slipcase and features a 2022 remastered audio.
