This is the second solo album by Hollie Kenniff, a musician from Portland, USA who also works as Mint Julep.
The deep sound world created by the softly floating synths, the mysterious guitar delay, and the hymn-like singing voice was inspired by David Lynch. The soundscape, which is mysterious and unsettling even in the silence, invites an addictiveness that is difficult to escape.
Goldmund's partner Keith Kenniff also participates in "Unfolding" and "Under the Loquat Tree".
