A 2023 work by ME AND MY FRIENDS, a five-piece group from Bristol, UK.
Many of the songs on this album, which were written during the first lockdown period of 2020, were created through online collaboration.
Up until now, they have been a rare band that can listen to a static ensemble while connecting tropical grooves from Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean, etc., but in this work, their delicate and introspective side has deepened even further.
It's an album full of poetry that makes you want to listen to it over and over again in a quiet environment.
