Brazilian composer/singer-songwriter/cellist DOM LA NENA's 4th solo album to be released in 2023.
The title of this work, "LEON", is Dom's nickname for his favorite cello, and as the name suggests, it is an instrumental piece composed entirely of layers of cello performance.
Her rich musical background, such as the elegance of chamber music, the emotion of dramatic accompaniment, the melancholy of world music, and the ominous sounds of experimental music, is displayed through the medium of the cello, while also expressing the profound and magical nature of the instrument itself. The charm comes from deep within the sound.
