Popular characters that the artist has created in the past , such as Cat and Hitotsume-chan, are seamlessly depicted in the chaotic compositions created with delicate brushstrokes , adding an even more fantastical quality to the world of Bosch and Bruegel, which is already imbued with a profound story-like quality.
The new edition, published in 2024, has a completely new case, title page, and colophon.
The book itself feels like a work of art, with the incorporation of "engraving" a printing technique that is almost identical to that used in 16th century copperplate prints, and foil stamping applied throughout.
