A graphic book created by former Talking Heads member David Byrne and depicting the world of ``American Utopia,'' which was a huge success both as a Broadway show and as a documentary film directed by Spike Lee.
The cut-up of Maira Kalman's illustrations, which were drawn on the stage curtain and also shown in the opening of the movie version, is linked to some of the phrases sung in "American Utopia." .
Maira Kalman's husband, Tibor Kalman, is also closely connected to Byrne, having designed many of the cover art for Talking Heads, including ``Remain In Light''.
