A 2014 work by a trio led by British pianist Dominic J Marshall, who is also a member of Cinematic Orchestra.
This work mainly picks up hip-hop/electro songs such as Flying Lotus, Tribe Called Quest, Pete Rock, and J Dilla. Emphasis is placed on recreating the powerful, raw-feeling beats of old hip-hop classics, and most of the songs are completed in short 3 minutes or less, resulting in a lively arrangement.
