The first solo album released in 1999 by Sam Prekop, singer/guitarist of the Chicago band Sea and Cake. Produced by fellow countryman Jim O'Rourke, this album inherits Sea and Cake's post-rock/jazz style, while also absorbing elements of bossa nova, rumba, and African beat, and thrillingly straddles the line between pop and avant-garde. . However, the vocal tone is consistently delicate and gentle, giving off a tranquil atmosphere that somehow resembles Ben Watt's "North Marine Drive."
This product is a 2021 reissue pink color vinyl edition.
