``WAY OUT WEST'' is a jazz free paper from Kansai by graphic designer and illustrator TAKAO FUJIOKA.

The special feature of the September 2023 issue is "Kansai Jazz Disc Guide."
Introducing recommended jazz records from the Kansai region released in the last 15 years, supervised by Jazz Calabash, a circuit-type jazz festival in the Osaka Kita area. As a listener, I am also happy that all of the works listed are accessible through distribution services.
Other publications include jazz vocalist Mutsuko Kawamoto's serial ``Jazz de Koibana'' and Wani Nakagawa's serial ``The Power of Listening to Music.''
