Charlie Parker was known as "Bird". Works by Donald Byrd and Charlie Byrd that are just a nod to the name. In the 1970s, birds were depicted as symbols of thought and fantasy. The modern world has begun to be linked to environmental issues.
We take a look back at the variety of birds that appear on the covers of jazz works in this selection by the ``Japanese Bird Jacket Association''.
