A pop-up picture book created by graphic designer Katsumi Komagata.
As the young salmon make their long journey from being born in the river, swimming down to the sea, and then returning to the river , the various hues of blue brought by the sea and sky are unfolded across the page.
The layers of paper cutouts are beautifully arranged with delicate balance on textured paper.
