Kansas City Art Institute（カンサスシティ美術大学）で結成されたインディーバンドthe COCTAILS の1990年作。
一発録りで収録されたフリーキーな演奏は、ラウンジジャズとガレージロックの境界をエキセントリックに彷徨いながらも全編に知的なユーモアセンスが通底し、そのとぼけた味わいはどこかNRBQをも思わせる。
活動後期にはより前衛的なスタイルでジャズとインディーロックのミクスチャーを試みた彼らの、遊び心あふれるポップで初々しい時代を記録したファーストアルバム。
